Looking for a Mini-ITX / Micro-ATX Socket LGA1155 with laptop ram slots m-sata for a m-sata ssd and a space for a laptop network card i think this is a mini pcie slot and the last requirement is a fullsize PCI express x16 slot for a gpu.
The reason for the board to have all these features is that i want to reuse mostly parts from my laptop and a Intel i5-3470 cpu and buy a gpu for it to get a great mini PC in a very cost effective way.
Detailed parts list of the parts that it needs to fit:
- Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX
- Intel core i5 3470 (Socket 1155)
- 2x corsair Vengance 8GB laptop DDR3 ram
- pci half mini network card from Broadcom (unkonwn model)
- Pci Express x16 slot
- Crucial m500 SSD 120GB mSATA 3.0
Thanks in advance
Yeah there's nothing out their with those features. You can get a board with mSata, but it'll be eatx, atx or thin mini itx. The thin mini itx has 2 laptop ram slots and mSata but, no full pcie 16x or half mini pcie. Frankly the list of features you want is very specific and doesn't apply to more then a hand full of people, so nobody made a board with all of those things.

So close. Only thing missing is full PCI lane for gpu. And it's h61, which is quite frankly ancient and probably not out of the box compatible with ivy bridge cpu's. (and it doesn't use a power supply...)

I've been looking at this board for a very specific use case. I need 5 sata connectors for raid 10 + os ssd, a full pci-e x16 lane, and dual gigabit intel nics. Only reason I hate it is the laptop memory, because I have extra desktop memory laying around.
maybe try something like this
