Looking for a new PC? Click here! (PC Noobs)

Hey everyone, if you're new to the site, welcome, if you're not, hey what's up, I've been around for a while and just haven't been posting that much. So on to what this thread is about:

I see a lot of new people coming here, asking for advice on what they should get, or they're looking to upgrade specific parts, etc. so on so forth. So, I decided I'll do here what I've been doing on the ESEA forums as well, in trying to help people find the best PC they could get within their budget for their desired use. I've been doing this for the past year over on ESEA and have helped multiple people to get new computers for their needs, be it gaming, video editing, general use, and pretty much anything else you can think of a computer being a use for, so finally without further ado, let's get this going.

I am not affiliated with RTW/TS and all the builds I make you will be solely off of my opinion on what I believe would be good for you. All I ask that you inform me with beforehand:

Your budget ($0-$1,000,000,000)

Your Intended Computer Usage (Gaming, work, internet browsing, media, media creation)

Where are you from? (USA, EU, CA, Zimbabwe)

What you want if possible (Preference) (Intel, AMD, ATI, Nvidia, SSD, Bluray drive, Lights that alternate between pink and purple every 3 seconds)

I am not biased to either side Intel/AMD, or nVidia/ATI, and I promise to always try to fit everything you want and get you the most of the money you're willing to spend.

For the people in the US, Canada and UK, I'll cover those areas. Seeing PCPartpicker does cover those areas

What would be the best gaming computer for eight hundred U.S. dollars? preferably intel/nvidia

Had to change it a bit. Forgot the PSU on the first one.

Here would be my vote.

Mines a bit more complicated because Ireceived a motherboard as a surprise Christmas present.

So basically I have about £350 to spend on a CPU, case, PSU, RAM, WIFI card and CPU cooler (I already have a HDD, monitor and keyboard and obviously the mobo)

The mobo is the AsRock FM2A75 pro4 so the CPU would probably have to be the a10 5800k

I was looking at the antec 1 case and I'd like a good heat sink as well tooverclock the CPU, I'm not sure if the mobo has pushpin holes.

Also I'd probably use the integrated graphics until I can afford something like a 7850.

Thanks

What part of europe do you live in?

I live in the uk and I'duse it mostly for games like Tribes Ascend, Planetside 2 and DOTA2

does the motherboard still have the retension plate on it?

Hehe, not too sure what that is but you can look it up on amazon or summin

http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/p/u69N £314. This will be able to play your games at a very good settings for a while. I also put in the Corsair H80 for extra cooling for the APU so you can overclock even more then a air cooler. Hope this will work out. the 6670 will also be able to crossfire with the 5800K as well

I'd kinda prefer to stick with air cooling for now so could you suggest a cheapish air cooler Also I was discouraged from using the 6670because the drivers are poorly supported and it's very buggy

The drivers for the 6670 are part of the 6xxx series driver. I haven't had a hiccup with the newest drivers. I do have a 6790
