Looking for a new monitor

i have recently discovered that for me the monitor really does matter considering I am legally blind. I currently have a monitor with a glossy finish and would prefer a matt black finish. I would personally only prefer a 1080p monitor and have been thinking about getting at least a 30 inch or higher display considering I only have a 24 inch at the moment. colour contrast does matter to me and less of a white glow. If you don't know what legally blind is please do a google search.

I would go for a Shimian or Auria 27in 1440p dispaly. I have a Auria, and its excellent. Picked one up for 300 bucks at my local Micro Center, and they can be found on Ebay as well. They sometimes have dead/bright pixels though, mine does have one.
