Looking for a major case upgrade

I've had an antec 900 for four years and it's completely and utterly awful. I've searched the web high and low and really haven't found anything that appeals to me that is ATX. I don't want a case that is bigger than the antec and would rather something that is smaller. The biggest form factor i'd like is a mid tower, and I am open to buying a new motherboard to accomodate for a smaller case. I'd like to keep plastic to a minimum, and the corsair 600t is way too big. The 650D also has some problems for me (the usb is a passthrough, which is totally unacceptable for 2013). It also must have a window and have cable management. My budget is 250$ CDN.

The only "solution" I've found was a cobalt blue bitfenix prodigy (85$) with either the MSI Z77IA-E53 or the ASUS P8Z77I Deluxe motherboard, with the msi option coming to 180$ and the ASUS coming to 280$, and i'd like to find an option that is cheaper so i can spend my ca$h on more games! :)

Specs of the PC:

Intel i7-3770k w/ Xigmatek Dark Knight

EVGA GTX 760 ACX SC

MSI Z77A-G45

OCZ 120gb SSD & Seagate 1.5tb HDD

16GB RIpjaws X 1600MHz

I will always recommend the Corsair Carbide Air 540.

Fractal Design's Define R4 is fantastic. It's not too tall but a little wide, but that's for all the cable management room on the inside. Also it has great airflow and is completely silent. And I can say all of this from experience with the case.

I would totally do that if my desk wasn't so small!

If I had a full desk setup tha'd be done in a heartbeat.

I second the fractal design R4. The fractal design core 3000 USB 3.0 is a good smaller option.

I also like the Antec p280. I really wish they wuould release a p280 mini like they had for the p180. That thing was amazing.

How about the Fractel Design Arc Midi R2.

Picked up a Fractal design Arc Midi R2, 1 Bitfenix Spectre Pro Fan, 2 Bitfenix Spectre Blue LED Fans and a Bitfenix Recon Fan Controller. Came to $140 before shipping and robbery... erm tax.

Nice man. You will be happy with that case.
