Looking for a gaming laptop to put Bazzite on

I am looking for a laptop to install Bazzite on that is 100% AMD that is relatively affordable. So far the only decent AMD laptop out seems to be the Asus ROG Ally Strix Halo for $2300.

As such I want a reasonably powerful all AMD laptop with a discrete GPU. Almost everything available seems to be nvidia and I find that frustrating. It doesn’t need to be super duper high end, but I’d prefer something that can run 1080p/1440p at medium at around 60-120 fps.

Does such a thing exist? Its crazy how hard it is to find actual info let alone actual laptops.

According to google AI, the Radeon 7900M is the best AMD discrete GPU, yet I can’t find that ANYWHERE!

All I can think of is Framework 16 laptop. It has a Radeon RX 7700RS

The Asus TUF A16 is also an AMD Advantage (amd cpu+gpu) laptop, and half the price of both options listed so far. Can’t speak for if it’s good for Linux though, network interface wise. Tuxedo Computers used to have one as well, but it seems to be out of stock or discontinued now.

For what it’s worth, anyway.

I saw that…would cost $2000 for the bare bones… :frowning:

at that price I would rather get the strix halo.

Id pay a premium for that Asus tablet one. Bazzite should be amazing on it,
