I currently have the Asus Sabertooth 990fx motherboard with a FX-8350 and it has served me well and is awesome I don't know much about motherboards but I do know it is one of the beat AM3+ MB buy I think it's ugly as all he'll I'm upgrading my computer and taking all the old spare parts and building another. I want to find a MB equivalent to the Sabertooth but I want it to be black themed I don't want any red or blue on it. I think the Gigabyte boards are absolutely beautiful but I don't think they are anywhere as good I don't know. Asrock also has some cool looking ones but I have heard that they have a whole he'll of alot of problems. So any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I don't think there is too many just blacked out 990 mobo out there. Gigabyte maybe? Does Evga have a blackout 990? Asrock Edit evga nope
It doesn't have to be blacked out just black themed neutral colors not dark green and tan. I don't know why Asus did that because there are almost no parts all to match that. I just want a board with the same features but has neutral colors. I know the companies to look at I just don't know how to understand all the features. I also just don't do red don't like blue either but would be much better than red. I saw a board by Gigabyte that was black and gold it was beautiful but don't think it was that great of a board because it only cost like $70.
I like thos just heard Asrock has huge problems with their usb ports working. I don't know about the specs I mean I know they will work but are they as good as the Sabertooth?
The Saber isn't perfect either. Issues with on board audio. Not a big deal if your using soundcards but a pain in the butt if your not.
I haven't noticed any audio problems but I'm getting a external sound card to use with the monitors I'm getting but been using onboard for 3 years and haven't noticed anything. I just know from Logan that the Sabertooth is the best 990FX besides the Formula V
Think all the brands have their issues. Some more than others. The important part is power delivery.
I use a Saber for my 8350 and I think it is decent except for the weird audio issues with the on board audio.

I like it alot but looks like it is very limited in the PCIE slot department. But I don't know like I said don't know MB specs at all I'm trying to learn tho.

I'm already using a water cooler don't need the noctua cooler. I'm really game for any board as long as it has awesome features and performance and at least neutral colors like I said I just hate the army green and tan I just think that was Asus worst idea to date and I love Asus. I'm also going to mod the Fury X's to get rid of the red. Just for the record my favorite would be black and a metallic color or black and purple even tho I know there is no such thing.
Not the best mb for a 8350. Better suited for 6300 or the 8370E Thermal design power of 95 watts sorry about the replay weirding out on me

Totally agree, I was too focused on the colours.
Those two cards in crossfire will probably struggle with your 8350, you may want to upgrade your cpu and get one gpu for now.
