I'm looking for a new GPU I'm not really brand friendly and I'm not too worried over price. Just as long as it doesn't go over 250-300 bucks. Currently I have two 550 TI's installed in my machine and after loading Star Citizen I saw I needed an upgrade. I've looked at the 770 and it looks like a decent card. I just want a few extra opinions to ensure I keep the best bang for my buck.

Dont go Nvidia they're currently ripping people off blindly and attempting to cheat the market by excluding AMD users in development of games. Check out the 280x or the 270x, both can OC really high but go with XFX, ASUS, SAPPHIRE and MSI brands the rest are crap.
I was also suggested by another user to get a 270 or 270x. With them being at 150-200 and their specs I'm leaning more toward those.
With your budget I would go with a Sapphire or Asus 280 or 280x. The 3gb of vram over the gtx770 2gb vram will help you a lot in Star Citizen. The 280s over clock failry well and will run pretty much any game maxed out on 1080p and even some at 1440p.
