Hello,
I build a new PC to run Proxmox with the following specs:
CPU: AMD 5900XT 16C/32T
RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS F4-3600C18Q (4x 32GB DIMMS) at 3600MTs
MOBO: MSI B550 Tomahawk (BIOS E7C91AMS.AI1) - latest bios as of today
When I first built this system, I ran Win11 with Karhu Ram Test and it passed without error for 24 hrs with no issues with EXPO at 3600MT.
I did not make any manual changes to voltage, just applied the EXPO profile and the system booted without issue.
My concern is long term stability of the system and weather it can keep running 3600MTs with 128GB of RAM and the IMC not degrading to where it will no longer be stable.
Long term, I’m wondering if I should drop the speed of the RAM manually to 3200MTs to lessen the load on the IMC and not cause any issues long term.
These are the memory timings (Imgur: The magic of the Internet) currently.
