Long living PC

So i have been thinking that a new pc would be nice but i'd like to have the same platform for 4-5 years. So i don't know if intel or AMD is the better option because people are talking about consoles being AMD based and more cores being used so i don't know to much about what would be a better option in long run. So i've tough an Intel and AMD platform. Also the budget is around 750€

Haswell I5-4570 or hd 8350

ASRock Z87m Extreme 4 or ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 (or something else about the same prize)

XFX core edition 550w Pro 80 plus bronze

Corsair DDR3 8GB 1600MHZ

HD 7950 or GTX 760

Bitfenix shinobi

Seagate barracuda 1TB

Personally I would go for the 8350. Reason being that programs/games are starting to be able to optimise more and more cores, so an 8-core processor is becoming more and more useful. As far as the GPU goes, they are both pretty neck-and-neck when it comes to gaming benchmarks, with the 7950 perhaps a little more powerful, but also takes more power. Take whichever GPU is cheaper when you buy.
