LOL@AMD combo

well two things:

1 it looks better (obviously)

2 it has a better chipset (790FX instead of 790x)

3 it has more pci ex. ports

but overall you might have better luck at overclocking and stability with gigabyte board.

it all depends they're both good.

and both are better than this board

HOLY SHIT

the most interesting thing about the 980a motherboard is that it supports DDR2, DDR3 and both AM3 and AM2 CPUs. I question the reality of this board. Hopefully we will see one soon.
