Logitech near new c270 not detecting

Literally got it 2 weeks ago and it's stopped working.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers about 10 times now today and googling provides no useful information except that I might need a new camera.

I am freaking out right now as I spent $40 on this Camera and I have absolutely no way to return it for a replacement or refund due to the policy of the store.

I also tried a system restore point and it's done nothing either.

I get this error mentioned in this link but the links instructions do not work for me either.  I am on Windows 7 64 bit

Please, someone help me.  I don't want to bin this Webcam.. dear heavens I am never buying another Logitech product in my life.

is the camera even powering on? could be boke

Regardless of store policy - they HAVE to, by LAW replace a faulty product if it is within the warranty date given by the manufacturer.  If the store will not do it, contact the manufacturer directly, explain the situation and they will take care of it.

I think I have no choice and will have to do that.

It's just not working.  I don't even think its powering on.  I will have to try it out on a friends computer first though just incase.
