Logitech Gaming bundle

So I went very cheap on my mouse when I bought my PC, also grabbed a keyboard laying around the house to save money so I could buy more games. Now some months have passed and this 12 dollar Insignia mouse has to be the worst POS I have every used. Kept freezing, first I thought it was my software, No. Then I obsessively kept up with the batteries, wasn't that either. I've concluded it's just junk. Got frustrated last night (it helps to give it a tap to unfreeze it) and smashed that mofo hard. You can guess its functionality now.. yeah. More to the point, This bundle from best buy, is it worth purchasing in an overall point of view. I'm not looking for the best here, all that went into my build. The only thing I fInd importing is the dpi, and I'm not really interested in anything over 2500, and if memory serves me right i think that's what the mouse is rated.

The mouse is fine (logitech makes decent mid-grade stuff at this point, I'm using a G500s and up till recently was using an old gen 1 G15), assuming it's size fits your hand well.  The DPS is adjustable, so I wouldn't worry about that.  However, if all you need is a mouse (and you're set on the G100s), you can get that one for like 24 bucks by it's self at amazon:

and if you need a keyboard as well, you can get the G105 (the keyboard in the bundle) on it's own for 40 bucks:

So if you don't need the mouse pad or headset, then that'll save you some money.

I walked into Best Buy to buy a Corsair M65 on a whim. I'm glad I didn't because I'm wayyyyyy behind on money apparently, So it might be best to go with the cheapest mouse I can find. That actually functions.
