why not? i am planning on getting the g230s. if your reason not to get any of them is because of the mic, this can easily be fixed by raising the microphone boost.the only reason why you would want to get the g430s is because of the external sound card that comes with it. But in my opinion, there is no difference between surround and stereo sound when it comes to headphones since it is so close to your ear.
