I recently picked up a dual monitor 4 computer hdmi kvm from here, and am having some trouble with my logitech brio 500 webcam. I use a macbook for work and a linux desktop for out of work, and if I plug the webcam directly into either there’s no issue, but not any other way.
Running lsusb when connected to the kvm shows nothing is connected… does anyone have advice, or is this a matter of returning it?
The KVM might not have enough power the web cam. Try putting a powered hub between it and the KVM. I had a similar weird issue that turned out to be power related
