As per your comment on XP Unofficial Service Pack 4,
Logan you're kind of ignorant sometimes but, that's okay. Even 98 has an active community to this day, they made over 1gb RAM and sata support and even have had rudimentary dual core support working on 98se. Heck they even have an XP program compatibility layer for 98SE. (No it's not perfect) Even floppy disks are still alive in niche, commercial, corporate and consumer environments, nothing dies in the tech world it just becomes less popular. I've seen it first hand.
Why upgrade a 700,000 dollar machine just for USB (yes i know floppy emulators exist). I've have test 7 on some SERIOUSLY out dated low end hard ware and it runs decently but, XP is still lighter and the same goes for 98SE. Also each of the 3 OSes i just listed can run some specific applications the other can not.
There will always be a reason people want to keep it around and usually there is community be hind it. Just look at VOGONS.org those dudes are the mecha of retro hardware and games. (because dosbox is in no way perfect)
I'm not just saying this to Logan, this goes for anybody who might not already know this.
EDIT: Also please don't take it as insult, I watch you guys for a reason, I'm just throwing the info out there so that others can learn/gain from it.
EDIT: EDIT: Also there is a hardware void, specially with some intel video chipsets, that 7 and sometimes vista don't work on. (Like my Toughbook)
