Logan - can you strip the teks audio for a podcast?

Hey, Just as the title reads. Most of the time I find myself just listening to the tek while working. I'd love to be able to download it as a podcast on apps like downcast and listen to it on my way to work, etc.

You could add an extra add here and there throughout the podcast too!

If not, I completely understand.

Thanks.

I could do that for you; I've been considering actually setting up an archive of all of the Teks and Inboxes, in audio format.

snipmp3.com will rip a sound file in mp3 from a youtube link.

listentoyoutube.com will do the exact same thing

and keepvid.com will rip a youtube video from youtube in a variety of formats and res's

I'm recording the most recent Tek right now, and will start an archive online, if Logan okays it (emailing him now).

Yeh sweet. Maybe he might want to throw an audio advertisement in it like most podcasters do. Or even an advertisement to the yt channel/website. Let me know the download repo if all goes well!

Damn it! 15 minutes in, it switched the audio to my mic, not the system sounds, so I have to re-record 25 minutes of it. Still waiting on a response from Logan, but I don't think he'd have a problem. How should I go about uploading it if I get the okay?

Well downcast (by far the best podcast app) allows you to manually just add any .mp3 url. So anywhere I guess. Maybe logan might offer to host it off their servers.

I'm sure I've seen Android apps that have allowed this easily before. I'll do a bit of digging and let you know if I find anything. But yeah, a podcast would be awesome

I have the episode 67 in a multitude of audio formats, now. I haven't gotten an email back, though, so we'll see.

What?

If you use the program jDownloader, it can download just the audio from the video. It can also do playlists from youtube, so you could do all the Tek episodes in one swing.

Thank you!

this would be a great idea as I travel a lot on train and would be great to have just on my phone and when I am walking through London

I'm ripping more as we speak :)

Good work Sir

I'm looking for the same thing because I want to listen to the Tek on my way to work, in the car. I tried using the YouTube app on my phone and connecting to the car's audio system via bluetooth but the sound was far too quiet. It's great that people are finding tools that help but would be really great is the tek syndicate website had this functionality integrated.
