Logan and Wendell, HELP!

I'm building a new PC, I've been a AMD fan for the longest time...And now I thought I'd try Intel once more. I'm not really worried about the 40-100$ price difference, nor the heat. But on performance...I have a beautiful motherboard choice for the Haswell (Asrock Fatal1ty Z87 Professional) Or I'd get Ivy-E (Asrock X79 Extreme6) I intend to game with these more than video editing (Although I intend to do that) I want the LEAST lag ever, and the best performance.

I can't decide between the Intel i7-4770K (Haswell) or Intel i7-4820K (Ivy-E) Help?

Thanks - AJ

For gaming only I would go with 4770k, for rendering and everything else, go 4820k.

That is all

The 4820K will render and game nicely, but unless you're doing really hardcore stuff you can go witha 4770K and be fine.

If you really want a rig for rendering only and a few minutes of time would mean the word then go with the z87 and the 4820k. personally  i would save the money and go 4770k and get better and more ram, video card and a good cooler to keep the temps down on that 4770k.
