Local NextCloud instance and gnome intergration

Hello all! Curious if anyone with a NextCloud deployment on TrueNAS Scale has been able to use the account integration in Gnome. The process always fails when I tell it to ignore that the cert is self signed and just use it. Then tried adding the truenas_default.crt to my Fedora install after converting it to a .pem.

I also just use TailScale so I don’t have to worry about reverse proxy or anything. I keep things simple cause that’s all I can handle.

Still no luck so far and also in no rush.

Just use http.

Though, make sure you’re not accessing it outside your LAN.

I also recall having an “app password” functionality in the (admin?) settings. Do try to test it as well. I cant recall what exactly worked.

For some reason, I think you also need Evolution for it to work. I may me recalling incorrectly and mixing the procedure with a another encrypted contacts and calendar sync app (etesync).
