Live streaming Linux setup to Twitch

Setting up ElementaryOS 0.4 Loki primarily as a development system with light media editing.

Trying to keep things visually neat & tidy as well.

Ironing out as many bugs as possible.

EDIT Had to change from Twitch to YouTube. Gaming only streams on Twitch.
Maybe I can monetize my YouTube channel? Lulz

I probably forgot to add some.

You should be able to download and install OBS (Open Broadcast Software) or compile it for your version of Linux if you want a program that simplifies recording and streaming.

You can either use software like openbroadcast. This is very much flexible when you want to soley run live videos over facbook or youtube. Else you use apps like yesmovies app and Stremio for streaming the videos. With drag and drop option, you can easily do that in seconds from here.

Closing as necro. Putting this one back to sleep. If anyone would like to continue the discussion, feel free to create a new topic thread and link back to this one.
