List Things In Games That Make You Cry

Here is the thing that makes me cry the most:

"Just a moment"

I tend to cry in the case of excruciating pain. I have a long patience thankfully so your problem wouldn't bother me. Also I cry at people who act like they're know it alls with pc's when they're clearly not. Luckily there are few and far between on Tek Syndicate...hence why I frequent it

anything EA or COD related

In Bioshock Infinite, when Elizabeth gets taken by the Songbird.

Ridiculously long respawn timers

Online LAG, make me sad and angry at the same time, and crappy game balance aswell.

You should see my friend... He's building his PC soon, and he's bragging to people about an i3 and a gtx550 and how smart you have to be to build one...

To top it off he says he'll be able to play Crysis 3 on the highest settings -.-

A list of games that got me close to crying. In no particular order.

FF Crisis Core

Kingdom Hearts

Shadow of the Colossus

Majora's Mask

Super Paper Mario

Is probably more, but I forget.

DAMNIT, you spoiled the game.

Net code issues in bf3, without that the game would be perfect.

Killed by admin :@

his computer would explode trying to run crysis 3 at 1080p :D

help him oc his gpu and then watch him cry as it melts :)

FFX! :'(

The moment at the end when Tidus starts to vanish. That was a real tear jerker... I was also 12 or 13 years old at the time so yeah...

Now I can take a thorn in my thumb and not cry one bit. =D

Only game that really made me cry was Valkyria Chronicles for the ps3

Dying when I havent saved after either: 1. A very long time. 2. A very long cutscene, especially the boring ones.

Something that almost makes me want to just not play a PC game is when you can see that it's just a shitty console port.  Menus that don't make sense, lack of a console where one seems necessary, little to no configurable settings (especially video...although the nVidia control panel makes it not so bad), but the thing that gets me the WORST, is when there's shitty control settings, especially mouse sensitivity settings.  I mean COME ON is it THAT hard?!  There's a good lot of games for which I have to drop my dpi to 400 to get it to an acceptable speed because the in-game slider is just totally garbage or non-existent.

EDIT: also escort missions.  Fucking escort missions.

I really hate when people who know how to build computers brag about how it's hard, attempting to obviously make others envy themselfs.  We can all agree that some mods are genius, that being said installing a video card does not take any skill what so-ever.

People who exaggerate on how hard building a computer really ends up hurting the PC community. People are turned off by both the "illusionary" difficulty of building a modern rig, and the elitist lieing to people to make themselfs feel more intelligent

Spec Ops: The Line made me cry, also the ending of bioshock1 when you save all the kids

Without a shred of a doubt the death of John Marston from Red Dead

  • day one dlc makes me cry
  • poor singleplayer because the companies have realised its easier to milk multiplayer ("Hey guys.... aside from the core assets, All we need to do is to make the MAPS!!")
  • multi gig patches/updates (i am looking at YOU bf3) especially when you are on crappy broadband like i am that has a max throughput of 80k a sec.
  • poor crossfire / sli support
