Yeah this was a really interesting video, I laughed my ass off while watching it though.
Brilliant video, made me look up alot of the terms while also laughing my ass off. So the general consensus is that Linux sucks, but is also an amazing community of enthusiasts and amazing ideas. Anyone seen this?

First of all: Linux is a kernel - and it is the best piece of software out there.
GNU/Linux OS's have issues, but the point of these operating systems is that their mostly (except RedHat etc.) community based - that means:
If you want to have something / change something - do it! Stop whining about it.

You guys mean consensus, right?
Also, despite how awesome and versatile Linux is, what puts me off is that every time someone has an issue with windows or whatever, there is soneone here with an answer like "just switch to Linux". I get the intention but it's not really helping.
