Anyone have any experience with the L series IBM servers? Especially when it comes to Linux on power pc? Have you done any performance comparisons to x86 hardware?

I don't have any experience with IBM servers, but I have run linux on the older mac pros.
It worked fine and was definitely a bit quicker than OSX at the time. This was at least 5 years ago though, so IDK where things stand right now.
My company has a linux on power machine that Ive worked with once or twice. I dont use it regularly, so I cant say much about it, but it seems alright.
