Linux GPU Virtualization Questions

Yes, You will need a separate monitor for Windows VM and Linux and two keyboards and mouse's to run Windows as a VM on an R7 1700. There is also another problem for you the Ryzen processor don't have an IGPU so you are going to need two graphic cards one for Windows VM and one for Linus. Ryzen processor are not expected to get built in IGPU's not until the next generation if ever. Also the instruction to accomplish what you want probably will be different than if you where to use an intel CPU because they work differently. . The fact the Ryzen chips Don't have built in IGPU's is what holding me back from complete switching from windows to Linux.

Lack of on-board graphics keeps the prices down, so I like it.
