Linux Firefox 51.0.1 help request

Just got this updated through Mint. Tested and i don't have 60fps video. Can someone check if they get this (on Linux obviously) . Full screen, im only getting 30fps.

@MisteryAngel or @Freaksmacker do you use FF, could you check.

I could go fire up my media box . I have yet to look at the update closely.

Fedora but i am not seeing a firefox update ?

Can it be that mint got an update before Fedora. They seem to pick and choose what gets updated in a random fashion.
(and yes im moving from it soon)

BTW i just tested, it's working on Opera just fine :/

Godamn Mozilla never test anything.

Could you check before and after ? regression should be easy although, it's probably just a switch in about:config , that's what they did just a few months ago .. the same fricken thing.

Ya ? give me a minute to see what gets affected :)

Fedora Firefox 51.0.1 was added 3 days ago, currently in updates-testing. I can check this later if @Freaksmacker doesnt get anything. is there a specific video?

Not really a specific video. Any with 60fps will do. As i said opera works.

:) Testing might be the key word for a linux noob.

Are you calling me a noob lol. this was pushed main line on a standard Mint update.

no ? Me as i almost always err on the side of stable and final releases. Give me some time as i have other updates and such to go through. I have to see what version is being pushed and what the caveats are ?

Still have 50 so ?

Fedora rules mint drools! :P sorry lol. Yeah, seems to work fine, tested before v51 and on v51 with this video

still updating :)

Yea, starts off saying 60 then immediately drops :/

Opera is working great as usual though.

maybe i should check out Fedora. What's gaming like, i assume Steam works but what about things from GOG.com or Itch.io ? Also how timely are the nvidia driver updates. Fedora is one of the only Distro's i haven't tried.

Took me a little time to sort an wifi issue learn how to install in a different manner. Seems to work for me.

Thanks for checking. Damn mint, wonder why it's distro specific.
