so after deciding i want to get my LPIC-1 cert i stumbled upon this youtube channel that seems to be a pretty good overview of things. i'm working my way through the linux essentials playlist. i'm a complete linux noob and it seems to be pretty helpful. i have a virtual box open and i'm going along with him. if any one else has some youtube channels that you think is good please link them. i like this one because he seems to follow the LPI's web site right down the page. also i'm looking for a book for a study guide and the reviews on amazon are kind of mixed.
The Linux action show usually discusses more advanced things and news, as well as applications to use on linux, the same broadcating network is planning a new show though called Howto linux where they will basically be covering howtos from a windows user perspective (The hosts will actually be two experienced linux users and one windows admin who wants to learn).

The network they're on (Jupiter broadcasting) is owned by one of the hosts of the show and also hosts other technical and social shows..
If your willing to pay for your education CBTNuggets has almost everything, I am planning to go with them sometime soon for their security package, its expensive but from the content I have seen its worth it.
