I am going to try the Linux plunge again. I have currently installed Garuda and have run into my first issue. I can not seem to get to my Windows file share using the dns name. It seems to work fine on IP but i do not want to connect to IP and i do not want to edit the host file. DNS should just work. I can ping it on server.local but cannot connect to the file share using that. The error i am getting is “Unable to access location. Failed to retrieve share list from server: Network dropped connection on reset.”
