Can someone do me a favor and list all Linux distributions that allow you to install the Broadcom drivers from trusted sources offline?
I’m trying to move off Ubuntu because it has problems mounting Ext4 Encrypted drives/partitions from fresh installs/out of the box.

You want to install the BCM drivers without being connected to the internet?
If so, then you have to use dpkg and need to have all of the required dependencies (auxilliary packages) available. Ubuntu should have a DVD install that is like 4 discs which include everything you could get online.
I don’t think your disk encryption issues is an Ubuntu specific thing unless you have some details to back that up.
