Am I the only one here who uses a tape deck as a line for all of my audio sources? Even computer.
Nope. I have a reel to reel I play with sometimes :DD
I like the quality from those. But I have 2 of them and am afraid to play them because of dust.
Just run a fan and blow it out when you're done Unless you live in a barn you won't hurt it :P
What tape deck do you use for your line in devices even computer? I have a Tascam 112MKII.
My R2R is a sony but the PN was rubbed off 3: my dad says its from the 50's tho. It was his grandpas.

I'm not sure what you mean? It has line out if thats what you're asking. I don't think it came with it though.
I mean does it spin the reel by way of a drive motor. I hear that the belt driven ones can degrade over time.
