Limited budget, 1440p Korean monitor or Mayflower dac/amp with their T50RP V1 heaphones?

Hey I guess this is more of just a question about what's more worth it. I'm finishing up on this website for my client and I'm going to have a little extra spending cash for an upgrade on my system. I'm running a 780 Ti with an i5, so I don't think 1440p would be an issue at this point. But after re-watching tek syndicate's video with the guy from Mayflower Electronics showing off their custom headphones and dac/amp combo it's hard to choose. I'm for sure upgrading to a noctua NH-D15 no matter what, but I'll only have enough money to choose between either an upgrade from my asus 1080p TM Panel monitor to a Matt x Star DP2710 Korean monitor; or Mayflower's Fostex T50RP V1 Headphones with the dac/amp. I do like sound and listen to music quite a bit, but I just want some of your opinions if 1440p is a big enough upgrade from 1080p to choose it over an amazing audio upgrade. Sorry for the long explanation!

Edit: Sorry if this is a repost, it doesn't quite fit just one forum

I would do the audio upgrade personally.  I don't think the DP2710 would be a better upgrade then a really good audio upgrade.  I only upgraded to 1440 because I went from 1080P to 3440x1440.  Huge difference for gaming and I already have a nice Bose speaker setup.

Oh ok thanks! I was leaning a little bit towards that anyways, I've just never seen a 1440p monitor before other than Logan's reviews through 1080p lol

Edit: I also forgot to mention I'm using a 23" 1080p monitor. If I got the 1440p it would be a 27". Is that a big size difference?

It is a good size difference for the resolution change.  I personally would wait to upgrade the monitor another 6-12 months because with 4k monitors coming out and dropping in price right now 1440 should go down a good amount.

I have a 27 inch 1080 monitor and the size is very nice for having a large picture filling your view. But unless you are annoyed every time you look at our monitor I would go with the headphones.

it is not a huge difference from 23" to 27"  ... and I'd go with the audio upgrade also ... I'm jealous been wanting one of those ODAC/amps for some time. Enjoy!
