Light Gaming laptop for college?

Hello,

I will say I would rather have a desktop over a laptop anyday. But I got accepted to a college that is about 16 hours away for my house. I would like to know if there is any light gaming laptops that will be able to run new games and upcoming games on high settings +. I would like nothing bigger than 15 inch screen and nothing lower than a 970m. I do alot of gaming and the school I got into is sorta in rural area so I most likely need to kill time. Have to be no more than 5 ish lb.

Well MSI seems to have some fairly decent stuff I guess around that price, although the 970M version is going to add like 400

should be 970M here, though it's open box, decent amount cheaper though

GS60 line is also pretty good, they are lighter and more compact too.
