LGA 1366 rack server with 72 gb ram for just over 700$!?

So I was being bored and I found this, for another 100$ you can get a decently fast xeon cpu " about 7000 according to passmark" and you get 72 gb of ddr3 ecc ram. How is that possible, are they just selling it at a loss?

Just a quick side note, what would need 72 gb ram

Anyway i'm just really confused, I don't want to buy it or anything, I just thought someone might be interested

It's a refurb. Companies only use the same hardware for two or three years before they replace it with the latest and greatest. They sell off their old hardware in bulk to refurb companies who in turn sell it to us, the little guy for a reasonable price. 

Servers, servers need that much RAM, some hold a full TB of RAM.
