I can confirm that 43" is too big for a monitor, at least on a standard computer desk which is sitting about 24" away.
I've got the 43" 4K Wasabi Mango UHD 430 monitor, and I just picked up a larger table that I'm planning on using as my desk to see if it makes a difference. My current desk is about 24" in depth, but the new table is around 34" in depth. Plus, the table is wider, which is what I really wanted in the first place.
