Level1techs KVM Not working LG Monitors

I recently bought a [1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Dual Monitor - Two Computer] 10 GB/USB C KVM and have been fighting to get it to work. I was at first for sure using too long of DP Cables, but as of today I am attempting 2 1M Club3D - the light on the KVM switches on, the monitor powers on like it is getting a signal but then never gets a picture with any combination of cables I have tried.

I also tried using 1 3 ft + one of the 3M FIBBR Certified Fiber Optic DisplayPort 2.1 Cable

I have 2 monitors I am trying to drive eventually, but am really just struggling to get one for now (LG UltraGear QHD 34-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor 34GP83A-B)

I have seen quite a few suggestions for the fibbr cable with the lights - not sure if this is worth trying at this point or if I have something else going on.

LG monitors are a bit fiddly sometimes. See if you have an eco mode or power save option to toggle off in the osd

It’s generally not good to mix fibbr and non fibbr cables. You should also not use the 3 foot fibbr cables as these seem to be cables that have been returned and are cut down to a shorter length to bring them back in spec. The 6 foot or longer fibbr cables generally are okay though.

What GPU(s) are in the mix?

While this won’t help with the Club3d cables, I bought the same fibbr 3m DP 2.1 cable as well as 2 2m cables for my KVM. Everything was looking good but after three days the monitor suddenly started only doing 800x600. After trial and error, I ended up pulling the 3m fibbr cable and using an old 3m Cable Matters cable and everything is working again. I’m waiting to hear back from FIBBR.

Likely fibbr cable died. Have seen that a time or two, swapping the fibbr cable should fix you up.
