Is there a Caching Hub magic box with balls to the wall speeds of some sort on the horizon for us home users?, Qain and Wendell building a slimed down version of the cloud-grade gaming network and Steam Cache?. if so, I’m in for it boots n all - what ever cost.
Any ideas wwwww?
Not sure I’m getting what you’re wanting but…
You can install steam cache (or rather its successor LanCache) on any home device you want. If the data is then on an SSD it should be plenty fast to saturate a home network.
You can also use regular harddrives, if you have enough of them they can easily saturate a home network as well.
