When it comes to swatting and the overt militarism of the American police we really need to pay credence to Commander Adama:
Car camera tech… got something even more nefarious. So the insurance policy states only qualified people can drive the car. Well the camera determines its not you, sends the picture to Amazon for facial recognition, Amazon returns an identity which is then cross referenced against DMV databases until a match is found. THEN it will decide based on that persons driving record whether they can drive the car or not… if its a no, it will shut down.
