come on you play pubg. also drunk new best news.

@ryan correction (sort of, I don’t know) on the Tesla going private thing.
Elon did not say he wanted to go private “at 420$”, he said that investors that would not want to go private would have the choice of being bought out at 420$, which (as is usual with buybacks) would be a hefty premium compared to the current stock price:

First, I would like to structure this so that all shareholders have a choice. Either they can stay investors in a private Tesla or they can be bought out at $420 per share, which is a 20% premium over the stock price following our Q2 earnings call (which had already increased by 16%). My hope is for all shareholders to remain, but if they prefer to be bought out, then this would enable that to happen at a nice premium. – Taking Tesla Private

Of course the result is the same, people buy like crazy in the hopes of being bought out at a higher price. But that also means that if the stock price goes above 420$ that he would have to raise the buy-out price.

Also, going private doesn’t mean that they will be buying back all the stock they don’t own, so neither the title nor the calculation of those 70 billion make a lot of sense.
All the stock can remain in private hands, it just means that they are not publicly traded anymore.

Also also. Only source I can find where he states that he had “secured funding” is this tweet (obviously), but imo that might as well be interpreted as “if funding is secured”, I don’t know. But anyway, that CNET article is just spouting the same BS because apparently CNET doesn’t know what “going private” means either.

On a side-note, he’s already tweeting new ideas (but then again when is he ever not tweeting so…):

Thought before that Grizzle just ridicules Musk, and that others dont really mind that much

But after this episode I have concluded that its actually about not liking him, like not liking this face from picture below :man_shrugging:t2:

To set correct perspective what I am after, its similar confusion to if somebody would claim that he really likes that Shkreli guy, it takes awhile to dig in

Just… I can’t even. There is no one in space to fight. Really? Have you fuckin not seen the Goa’uld? They are EVERYWHERE! We need to take the Stargate out of the shadows into the light, and this can ONLY be done with Space Force.
