Hey guys, thanks for the great coverage of tech news this week. I was watching the
Level1 News 10/05/2020: Floatplane Edition last night and there was a comment from Ryan(?) about Clearview AI and how they were possibly training LEO to build fake accounts and how to avoid detection potentially? It was around the time you started talking about the story with facebook sueing a company with some extensions that were scraping data I think.
I did quite a bit of digging and couldn’t find specifics on what tactics they were using to avoid detection, do you guys possibly have a link with more information?
I know that scraping Facebook and other social media content isn’t exactly hard if you know what you are doing and can avoid the obvious detection methods and wanted to learn more on the subject.
