Level1 3 monitor 2 computer KVM

Hello, I am currently designing a desk which I plan to ve the ultimate desk so I will never need another one and I want to implement the 3 monitor 2 computer kvm into it.
My main question is if it is possible or recommended in the slightest to take it apart and possibly “move” (not sure how its connected) the switch button.

My basic premise is to have this under my desk in the back with all the cables routed nice and neat and have it confined to that space but I dont want to have to reach under the desk everytime I wanna go back to the other computer.

That would really be all I want “moved” as I can obvously get long enough cables.

So anyone from the level1 team or anyone with experience with it could assist in my endevor that would be fantastic thanks.

P.S I dont want to go with another solution if it can be avoided cause its just about the best dang kvm ive ever been able to find at a resonable price and I would like to support level one as I have learned quite a bit from the videos.

Oi. If you have one, take pictures of it “naked” - but I would think that a solder iron, some wires and create a new housing for the switches (buttons) themselves would suffice :).

I was thinking the same thing.

I havent bought one yet still designing the desk in cad makin sure itll do everything I want.

Does anyone know of a dock that would work well with this Kvm? I wanna hook up my fedora framework laptop to this so I dont have to dual boot or launch a vm on my big monster gaming pc and can just leave my laptop on charging all the time when I need to just do quick maintainence on my servers or check something or just watch a youtube video.

Thanks for the help.

You can use a USB macroboard as a remote switch. v3 of the wd19 has been tested to work with the kvm. Caldigit docks also work pretty well with the kvm
