Well basically he brought up the darknet.
Funny enough as he was spinning that the darknet was, yes, unindexed ips and traffic, he made it out to be a terrorist hole. Excuse me? I'm sure I'm not the only one to go on there (personally to hide some rkits I may want later that exploits a lot of dell and hp hardware but thats all I'll say)for more than curious snooping and storage of things. If anything just to get jn contact with hacker friends or access old ass usenet threads OR USE USENET. What this guy was talking about was silk road and I knew that. Tjeres a few other market places for less than legal tools and items but what he was talking about, and dancing around the name, was silk road. It isn't even around anymore for fucks sake. Nothing was brought up about positive uses of darknet, nothing was brought up about using it as a form of free speech in other countries, nothing.
Then he starts talking about "Well if we can get it what about terrorists? Oh noes! Teh SPOOPS" and for 13 minutes theres drivel and snide remarks about the hacker community and how we do things and then he compares us to arabia and china and wraps it all together.
For the last 6 months I've been watching more of this shot happen. When I was at the skw feminazi college I used linux and basically mothing else. If I opened a terminal to update people would leave the room and twice they called campus security and despite all that I said I had my laptop takes one of those times and huh what a wierd thing they couldn't find fuck all! THATS WIERD. I'm still trying to figure out how those tards figured out the custom wm I was using and how to open shit.. More on that at another time.
Theres all this "cyber" bullshit going around again I fell like I'm eother a) in a bad facebook rp group, b) in 2003, or c) kevin mitnick is running around again fucking with PacTel, SAS, and novatel all over again. I mean fuck man I'm even getting a bad rap from my parents because they know and ask about my shit and I happily answer what I can and refuse what I can't. Theres all this crap in the media and its all talking heads.
Your parents are just worried that you might be a terrorist, Not true. They fear what they don't truly fully understand, its a human trait and people like this FBI agent is trying to feed people on that fear, so people get scared and scared people make a voice and voices helps with funding the FBI black budget. Also guest like his helps with funding the network and his show, money is king even on pbs.
Send a EMAIL to ACLU and have some complaints about how you are being treated at school and request what would be the best course of action for being harass at school by the campus security and what to do about the possible unlawful search and seizure and ask if it unlawful for campus security to hack your personal computer with possible medical info and bank statements. If it is legal, see if you can ask for a report on what they found and how they got in. Create a paper trail.
Also EMAIL the DEAN Boss or Bosses on how you are being discriminated by campus facilities by abusing their power of due process. But also inform them that when you use campus computers that you do respect the campus TOS and Policies. If you have to show up to the gallas then go and talk around get names you are also networking here.
