Kubuntu 17.10, up to date opera so there shouldn’t be a difference I assume.
Could be the same issue Chromium has on Linux. As far as I know you have to fiddle quite a bit with Chromium to make DRM work because it’s proprietary and not included in a lot of Distributions. I would assume it’s the same with Opera (they might not be allowed to ship it? idk).
So YT stopped giving my 1080/720p options and looking at the documentation they listed apple MS chrome and FF. But in vivaldi, a chrome based app, nothing past 360p.
