What on earth? Wendell reviewing overwatch? The filthy casual! LOL!
I happened to enjoy Team Fortress in a way that never really translated with the HL2 engine. So, I decided to play Overwatch, the new game from Blizzard that might have started life as an MMO.
Is it fair to say this is a casual's version of team fortress? Sure, I think that's fair. It is easy to get lost in the strategy and teamwork -- and it is a lot of fun to play with friends.
I don't know that it scratches my old Team Fortress itch, but it is a lot of fun and strangely addictive. The attention to detail and relatively bug-free game play experience is also something to be commended.
Here's hoping to more games in this genre!

I fell in love with Overwatch. Got it for 40€ (which is more like $45) and got fun for 80€ out of the game.
I went the extra mile of reading through the stories of each character I like and play just to make me wish there was a story-mode...
Apart from the sudden influx of cheaters which is now back down to the early days I have little to complain about. Biggest complain: Torbjörn. That guy can stuff his ______ turret up his _____ _____ and ___ while _____ _____ _____ ____ ____ (Note: I know Pharah can counter him but most of the time I need to support or tank because someone decided robots and ninjas should be one thing people can play)
I am playing on ultra settings 1080p at solid 60FPS.
The ingame voice chat is good? Might have to give that a try on the weekend.
TL;DR I like it
Personal advice to new players: Go for it! Maybe read some guides on the characters you play more often
Personal advice to every other player: This is a team based shooter. So please do not run away when I try to heal you!
Overwatch looks like an awesome game, but It's $80 in Australia which is something I refuse to pay for any game these days.
If I could get it for $40 I'd buy it today!

I really like the causal gaming point of view. Some of us are lucky if we have an hr or 2 a week to game.

You don't have me fooled Wendell, I still think that Grizzle is a robot.
Coming from an older, busy, but game when I can guy, enjoyed the laid back feel of this video. Thanks Wendell, Grizzle, and Kresta (sp) sorry.
PS. Griz voice sounds very familiar. Like someone I use to, "Fly With." If he see's this and gets the reference.

i kinda like overwatch - but then again there is visible aim assists on some characters.
