I just got my Lenovo Ideapad y510p and immediately chose to downgrade it. My buddy that told me it would be a sinch may have caused a nightmare for me. During the installation process where you choose which hdd or partition to install the operating system on, he chose to delete absolutely all the partitions until there was only one, selected the one, hit next and away we go. However, now that it is "installed" on my laptop I cannot get past the Starting Windows screen, it will just freeze up whenever I try to start the laptop.
My fear here is that he shouldnt have touched all the partitions. Looking for any love on the subject or how to go about fixing my current situation.
It shouldn't be an issue... The problems that may cause this is maybe an unproperly formatted hdd, a wrong mbr or perhaps a wrong boot/hdd-setting in the bios. Find a geek-friend to take a look at it. ;)
haha, kk. thanks :D
