Greetings Tek World!
If anyone knows me here, you all know that I recently started photography and I'm really enjoying it! I may be an amateur, but in my eyes I've pulled of some cool pictures (at least that's what my mother tells me). Now I still have much to learn in terms of techniques, framing, composition etc..
Now someone maybe in my place, got their feet wet but still want to really dive in. Some one maybe a total noob but has made it a new years resolution to learn the art. Someone maybe quite experienced but could use a little practice. I'm just here to show you guys some resources where you can learn! Googling "photography" can be a little intimitading with millions of results popping up, So here are two that you may find of use.
The first one is from reddit. If you don't know reddit, it's a website on the internet where pretty much everything happens. Literally everything. There's a subreddit, a community, called photoclass2015. You get a lesson, then an assignment. To see in depth how it's run, check out past years of the photoclass
The second resource I'd like to bring to attention is this free two month, online, university level photography course. It looks really promising and really jump start a hobby. And you can take it on your own time.
I hope at least one person was guided due to this post. I know there is someone out there who could really use this information. As for cameras, you don't need anything too high end. Start shooting with a smart phone or the family point and shoot, then invest in an entry level DSLR if you really like it.
Happy Shooting!
P.S. if you want to check out any of my own photography , follow me on instagram @itss_me_moe or on flickr www.flickr.com/moe_kennedy
