So I sold my main monitor (a 1080p TV) as I'm switching to 4K. I hooked up my old monitor a ViewSonic VA1912w with a VGA to DVI adapter. And now Linux sees the display as a CRT display and the max resolution is 640x480 :D
Anyone have an idea to solving this?
The display works fine in Win7.
Will post xorg.conf file shortly.
