Lazer 8-Port Master/Slave Powerbrick disabled by PSU?

Thought I would post this here to see if anyone else has had issues with MASTER-SLAVE powerboards and their PC PSU disabling the feature meaning when your PC turns off the SLAVES remain on. I have a Cougar Gold 850W PSU in my system atm and it prevents my 8-port Lazer M/S powerboard from turning off Slaves.

I have tested other hardware in it and it does indeed work and this is the second one I have tried from Lazer.

Thinking I may need to rip the powerboard open and do some hacking to get around the issue, I have also put a watt meter on the Master socket and it shows 0.2W usage, the board is meant to turn off when it goes under 35W! This issue is a bit of an x-file, can't seem to find a single person on the net with a similar issue!
