Latop for 3D and CAD

Hello everybody,

Since I've begun college, I've noticed my old laptop (Samsung R440 with i3) is no longer sufficient for the stuff I`m working on. Mostly due to rendering and gaming in medium settings. What laptop would you recommend that would fit the requirements:

Budget: $600 - $800 USD

Specs:

HDD Space: 500 - 750GB

RAM: 6GB at least

Software that will be used:

Solidworks 2013

AutoCAD

Autodesk Inventor

NX8

Photoshop CS5

Games:

Dead Space 2

Saints Row 3

Portal

Half-Life 2

Borderlands

Final notes:

Can't order online, due to problems with mail delivery in my country (Mexico, stuff always gets stolen)

Not sure if AMD APU or discrete Graphics Card would be better.

Thanks in advance.

For solid works i know someone who used a low end quadro for that... But any computer with a decent graphics card (depending on the models you work with) and an I5/7 or an FX 8350 will run both games and productivity fine.

I ran autodesk with integrated graphics from a i5 2430m.  Worked alright. I only had issues with ray-tracing and some visual stress analysts.  For gaming, i could barely run CSS at playable fps.  I would go with something with a discrete gpu.
