Hey guys, I haven't found any topics about TLOU so far.
So anyone playing it aswell? What do you think of it.
I have read the reviews for the game.... 10/10...best game ever and after playing for about 3h...I don't like it one bit. One of the most deliberetly annoying and boring games I have ever played. I played State of Decay...now that's a great game! And will soon be on PC aswell.
That is the first negative thing I have heard about the game, I haven't played it myself but could you elaborate? Do you not like the storyline or the gameplay?
I played some of state of decay on my friends xbox, it like the game alot but I think if it was less arcadey it would be more immersive, and it had a terrible frame rate. Looking forward to the PC release, hopefully with multiplayer mods (although I heard multiplayer was in the works?)
I finished State of Decay today and although it has some flaws (mainly technical) it is a really fun and good game, specially since it's not a full-prize title. I needed about 16h to beat SoD, which is a lot for about 14$ or so.
In TLOU I don't like the level design...it's just tubes...like it was 2003 not 2013. I don't like how your equipment breaks after 2-4 uses...as if a metal pipe would break after 4 hits against a human... and some zombies you can't fight without a weapon. Your companions are even more useless...there is a guy with a machete that doesn't break and he just lets the zombies you can't kill coming at you. Oh and shooting them in the head with a shotgun doesn't kill...you need 2 shots... of course you are dead after being bitten once, which is realistic and good, but at the beginning you can't even push zombies back...when some types are near you you have had it. You learn those skills later, but after 20 years living with zombies you think the guy would have learned to push them back. And till now you had to fight way to much...I would like to care about the caracters, but I can't because I'm annoyed by fight after fight which aren't fun. In gameplay it takes you half an hour do go 200 yards and in the sequences they walk miles without any trouble...I would rather explore the world and not play just the fight parts.
I'm gonna go now to youtube to watch a playthrough and see the story and never gonna touch the game again...
