I think he may have meant refurbished? just a guess.
Be weary if returns for mission critical stuff. They’re very hit or miss. Some outlast non-refurbs, some die within months from my experience. I’ve got a 3tb return we green as my temporary backup drive and it’s been running well for years, while some other returns died quickly
