I need help because i want to buy a laptop that will play games to the highest possible settings with my budget but will be able to do basic university work like essays and powerpoints etc if anyone could help find me a good deal it would be greatly appreciated
Budget laptops and maxed out game settings do not mix...
Laptops in the UK are much more expensive than in the US, so even though 580 GBP converts to almost 900 USD, enough for a mid-high tier laptop in the US, it's different over there.
Your best bet is possibly a used gaming laptop.
im sorry i meant the best settings with my budget but if you know where you could get a good used laptop that would be really helpful
+1
@amagill97 you can try configuring some laptops at http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/laptops/ for example I chose The 15.6" Cosmos III and customized it, by selecting:
- i5 Dual Core i5-4310M (2.70GHz)
- 8GB KINGSTON SODIMM DDR3 1600MHz (1 x 8GB)
- NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 940M - 2.0GB DDR3 Video RAM - DirectX® 12 on a 15.6" Matte HD LED 16:9 Widescreen (1366x768)
for £583.00 inc VAT and Delivery. But it's still not that great for a gaming, highest possible settings laptop.
any good used laptops it sucks the way us gets laptops way cheaper
the US sorry
Well, we have "less" regulations and importation fees. You could just have someone buy a laptop in the US and have them ship it. I know people that buy in America before they leave for the UK for school or w/e.
Why's the laptop aspect a necessity?
