Laptop Suggestions

Wasn't sure where to start this thread, but I'm looking for a laptop.  I'll use it mostly for work, classes, internet, and light gaming if I'm in a pinch.  I'm not looking for any flashy "gamur laptops" with the lights, I just want something sleek and professional.  I'd like a few options between i5 and i7 laptops, or their AMD equivalent.

here is an HP refurbished laptop its $300 USD This would be a fantastic productivity laptop and I think the HPs look great I used a similar one to this for work ( style ) for 2 years and loved it.

Please note that these are just my opinions and not necessarily recommendations.

With that said ... if I were to throw a $1000 dollars at a laptop ... it would probably be close to these.
